The Roslin Institute, the world's leading animal sciences research institute, has recently joined The University of Edinburgh's Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies (R(D)SVS), a global leader in undergraduate veterinary education, production and companion animal medicine and veterinary public health.
The Roslin Institute is situated in the historic village of Roslin, 7miles / 11km south of the centre of the City of Edinburgh. Edinburgh is an excellent place to live and the Institute has good transport links with the city, other parts of Scotland, and international destinations.

The Roslin Institute is developing an exciting new postgraduate taught programme, Animal Biosciences.
The aim is to provide scientific knowledge and skills relating to applications of basic animal sciences to veterinary and human medicine, the livestock industry and food security.
